Plot Overview
Erica and Dimitri are enjoying their so-called honeymoon in bed; Ruth and Joe move into their new house and it is evident that Ruth is having trouble adjusting to the new surroundings; Janet goes to see Palmer to ask for money and Palmer's ex-wife Daisy drops by unexpectedly; Tad flashes back to the tornado that nearly killed him; while Erica and Dimitri are happily lost in each other, Mark, Erica's brother, knocks at the door; Janet threatens to tell Opal about all of Palmer's affairs, especially the one with her; while Opal and Myrtle are picking out clothing, Verla Grubbs shows up during the horrible snow storm; Opal knows something is wrong with Verla if she traveled all this way during a storm; Erica and Mark reminisce about the physical relationship they had together before they knew they were siblings, and about their dearly departed mother; Palmer gets fed up with Janet's demands for money and tries to choke her, but stops when Daisy walks in; Tad tells his parents that he planned a house-warming party for them but the weather must have kept everyone home; realizing his mother needs company, Tad calls Erica and she promises that she'll bring Dimitri and Mark with her; Palmer admits to Daisy that Janet is his mistress and she realizes who Janet is; Opal was right about Verla having some sort of problem; and Erica keeps her promise to bring Dimitri and Mark, but Tad does not expect her to bring all of Pine Valley.
