Plot Overview

Palmer is worried that Daisy will tell Opal everything about his affair with Janet; the house warming party seems to lift Ruth's spirits; Maria accusses Brooke of trying to get Edmund back and breaking up their rocky marriage; Daisy remembers that her marriage to Palmer was not always a smooth ride; she promises not to tell Opal about Janet, but if it ever happens again she'll gladly tell Opal; Verla tells a wild story about skydiving over a Thanksgiving parade and landing on a float where she met her fiance; Opal and Myrtle are happy that Verla is getting married but don't understand why she came back to Pine Valley; Tad reminisces about the affair he had with Mary Colby and her daughter, Liza; Erica looks back on her many marriages and the relationships that almost took her to the altar; Maria apologizes to Edmund for being jealous of Brooke and says that she understands that they are nothing more than business partners; while Verla is trying on wedding gowns, Langley walks in and gives Verla his blessing; Ruth wants her pictures back instead of the old house; Edmund recommends marriage counseling because he doesn't want to lose Maria; and Ruth and Joe get a wonderful surprise from their family and all of their friends.
