Behind the Scenes
Allusions and References
- Con Air: The episode title is a reference to the 1997 movie Con Air, starring Nicolas Cage and John Cusack. The movie revolved around an ex-con and an U.S. Marshall being trapped on a plane when prisoners seize control. The two must attempt to work together in order to bring the plane down safely before the authorities shoot it out of the sky. Of course, the film takes Con as being short for "Convict," while this episode takes it as meaning "Con Man."
