Happenings
- Prophecy: The Nyazian Scrolls prophecised that Sahjhan would be killed by the son of the vampire with a soul. This finally comes to pass when Connor decapitates Sahjhan in Cyvus' home.
Characters
- Connor: Connor returns in this episode. As a compromise for working at Wolfram & Hart, Angel had everyone's memory erased and reality changed so Connor could have a normal life. He was being raised by Lawrence and Colleen Riley and was going to Stanford until he was forced into the demon killing life again, briefly. Although the cube with his memories is broken, it's unknown if he regained his. At the end of the episode, he goes back to his normal life.
- Wesley: Wesley's true memories are given back to him after he smashes the cube that contains the past the was before Cyvus changed it to make everyone forget Connor.
- Gunn: Marcus attempts to tempt Gunn into striking a deal with the firm in exchange for his release from the holding dimension, but he declines.
Referbacks
- 3x19 - The Price: Technically, Justine Cooper trapped Sahjhan in the bottle. In an attempt to force Sahjhan to reopen the portal to the hell dimension Holtz took Connor to, Angel made him corporeal. When he proved more difficult to kill than previously thought, they trapped him in the bottle as a plan B.
- Angel: He's gone. I trapped him in a bottle.
- 3x15 - Loyalty: Wesley kidnapped Connor when he found that the prophecy saying that Angel would kill his son would come to pass. However, it turned out that Sahjhan had edited the prophecy in order to remove Connor from the picture because it was originally foretold that Connor would kill him.
- Illyria: You stole his son.
- 3x17 - Forgiving: Wesley was left for dead in the park outside his apartment by Justine, who slit his throat and stole Connor from him. After Fred and Gunn found him and transported him to the hospital, Angel attempted to smother him with a pillow for kidnapping his son in the first place.
- Illyria: He tried to kill you.

Memorable Moments
Quotes
- Wesley: She's either counting oxygen molecules or analysing the petri dish she just put into her mouth. Or sleeping. I can never quite tell.
- Wesley: Illyria can be... difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt.
- Angel: We'll make Spike do it.
- Wesley: Good.
- Wesley: She doesn't understand our world. She needs someone to guide her. She needs--
- Angel: When was the last time you slept? You're not her saviour. I need you here, working, not off drinking yourself into a coma, chasing ghosts. Fred's dead, Wes. You're still alive. Start acting like it.
- Connor: You almost broke that guy in half! (beat) That was awesome!
- Connor: Wow. Is everyone here a superhero? This place must be insane.
- Angel: It's mostly paralegals and secretaries. Pretty boring, really.
- (Spike crashes through the training room doors in front of them)
- Spike: You filthy harlot! I'm gonna tear your neck out!
- Connor: (about Illyria) She have any powers?
- Spike: Glad you asked. So far, I've established that she can hit like a Mack Truck, selectively alter the flow of time and, uh, possibly talk to plants.
- Illryia: I'd like to keep Spike as my pet.
- Illryia: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me.
- Connor: No, I – I – It's just, uh... It's the outfit. I guess I've always had a thing for older women.
- Angel: They were supposed to fix that.
- Connor: What?
- Angel: Nothing.
- Angel: How do you know about Connor?
- Cyvus Vail: I built him.
- Gunn: Come on, Sparky. Let's go! This heart ain't gonna cut itself out.
- Sahjhan: Thank you, mortal, for releasing me from my cursed prison. In gratitude I grant you three wishes.
- Connor: Really?
- Sahjhan: Nah, I'm just messing with you.
- Connor: (to Angel) You got to do what you can to protect your family. I learned that from my father.
