Plot Overview
Finishing the last of their packing, Missy reminisced about all their friends, but Bill felt sure they'd make new ones. Susan told them she hopes an apartment of her own and a job will give her the independence she's looking for. Rachel argued she had every right to take Ada's divorce papers, but Ada warned she might not like what she finds. Bill admitted to Dru and Mary his punch consisted of champagne and brandy. Ernie, Ada, Rachel, then Sam, then Walter, Lenore, Steve, then Fred and Susan arrived. Ada asked Ernie to take her home when she realized Rachel knew both Alice and Russ were working at the hospital. Missy came down the stairs with Ricky, and she and Bill said an emotional farewell to everyone.
