Plot Overview

Ray asked Alice to dinner; she told Emma of Willis's trip; John told her of discrepancies in Willis's files. Russ worried about Sharlene, whom Emma warned about Willis. Angie told Gil and Ray that Alice got a call from a strange woman. Sharlene disbelieved Emma, who felt Russ would forgive the grief-stricken things she did. Angie was mum when John and Alice wondered if Willis was keeping 2 sets of books. In his hotel room, Willis offered to help Olive get Ray back as long as she doesn't put on an act with him. Ray told Emma he worried about Alice's unpleasant phone call. Russ came to the station to tell Gil he suspects Willis is blackmailing Sharlene. Alice and Angie wondered about the inverted "V" code on Willis's files. Alice warned Ray that Olive was intent on coming to town. Olive let Willis know she was aware of the situations in Bay City.
