Plot Overview
Charley was confused when Fred called cookies "grocery cakes." Vivien told Rudy her father needed to be put in a home. Iris was annoyed at Vivien's reaction upon meeting Kirk's wife. Scott was bothered that Jeff was Rachel's lawyer. Ada was too late in asking Charley not to tell Fred about the job at Rachel's. Rita glared at them as Morgan and Paul got Joey released from the station. While visiting Jim, Phil was impressed that Sally approved of Joey's arrest because it furthered her ends. There was a subtle subtext behind the pleasantries Iris and June exchanged. Eileen told Rita she was moving back to her apartment after Sally accused her of engineering Joey's arrest. Ada, Fred, Charley, and Cory all stepped out shouting "surprise" when Linda and Clarice wheeled Larry through his front door. Pat comforted Brian and urged him to confide in Scott, who suggested talking to Albini. Kirk fumed when June made jabs about Iris and Vivien being the Beverly Hillbillies in Bay City. Fred jockeyed to keep up as Ada and Charley left, then Clarice and Larry enjoyed a tender moment alone. Sally practically pushed Phil into Eileen's apartment.
