Karen began to question her sanity when she pressed the button to open the elevator again and Ted was gone. Morgan told Rose about the call from Chicago and said not to worry Joey about it. Rachel discouraged Frank from finding another place to stay. Teddy raged at Ethel for being soft with Eileen, but she begged him not to sell Eileen to the vicious Johnny Flowers in Cicero. Michael thought Karen had hallucinated, and she agreed it was impossible for Ted to have disappeared from the elevator so quickly. Liz accused Pat of refusing to face the fact that a dreadful and tragic change has taken place in Mac. Morgan told an impatient Joey to wait before retracing Eileen's route. Ada informed Mac he was getting a taste of his own medicine. Teddy informed a bound Eileen she'd be leaving tomorrow as he sold her to another pimp.
