Plot Overview

Janice failed to dissuade Mitch from coming to Bay City. Angie questioned Willis about his recent lack of affection toward her. Ada was surprised when Charley picked her up for their date at her front door. Mac was in agony imagining Rachel and Frank in bed. Rachel admitted she wasn't prepared to change her life when Frank spoke of what might happen should the State Department find his daughter. Mac hotly disagreed with Louise's assertion that Frank wasn't more than a friend to Rachel. Janice didn't volunteer much despite Angie's promise to uncover what she was up to with Willis. Brooks and Louise fretted over the inevitable Mac and Rachel clash. At the Lake club, Ada and Charley danced to Glen Miller. Mac unleashed his anger at Rachel, but that only made her refuse to answer his questions about Frank. Angie was glad when Willis told her he'd love to get out from under Kirk's thumb. Charley popped the question, but Ada had to decline on vague grounds. Janice offered to have Mac's children when he revealed overhearing Rachel's plans to have kids with Frank. Rachel woke up in tears after dreaming of being in Mac's arms.
