Plot Overview

Mac didn't share Cecile's nthusiasm in securing an author for Brava and asked to see her later for a meeting. Sandy started his new construction job. Russ decided to go to work after Pat brought him home from the airport. Sandy got acquainted with Frankie, who advised him to wear warmer clothes for work. After Mac assured Pat that she and Cecile would have clearly defined roles as co-editors, Pat accepted Mac's job offer. Russ refused Olivia's suggestion that he deal with Tracy's death. Cecile worried about Mac's attitude and her upcoming meeting with him to Jamie. Cecile was upset when Mac advised she and Pat would be sharing co-editor duties. Joey picked Sandy up from work. Mac questioned Jamie's ability to separate personal feelings from company loyalty when Jamie was upset that Mac made a business decision without consulting him. Joey invited Sandy to Ada's for dinner after seeing his hotel room. Liz congratulated Pat on coming back to Brava and suggested Jim help Russ deal with Tracy's death. Ada invited Sandy to stay at her house until he finds a place of his own. Jamie brought roses for Cecile. Jim and Pat recalled that Russ stifles his emotions when dealing with grief. Jim agreed with Pat's request to talk to Russ about Tracy. Jamie comforted and asked Cecile on a date. Jim got Russ to quit talking about work and embraced him.
