Plot Overview

Jamie was displeased when the police report Jerry gave him ruled what happened at the dock project to be an accident. Pat told Cecile that Mac wants to see both of him in his office. Jerry explained his suspicions of the dock project "accident" to Jamie. Cecile fumed when Pat was given 2 projects during Cecile's absence. Mac refused to give the chapter regarding the Miriam Sanderson affair to Cecile for editing. Jamie agreed to sublet his loft to Jerry, so him and Kit could have time alone together. Cecile was not pleased when Liz said that Sandy was Pat's new assistant trainee. Jamie planned to confront Mac after speaking with Cecile and Phillip. Mac told Sandy about his job responsibilities at Brava. Jamie assigned Phillip on a story for The Ledger regarding the dock project incidents. Pat was confident that Sandy would be a fast learner while working at Brava. Jerry couldn't convince Clarice to hope for Larry's return to their marriage. Joey warned Sandy about Cecile and thought that Jamie was making the same mistakes he made with Blaine. Sandy warned Joey to stay away from Blaine. Jamie confronted Mac about making business decisions without him and being sent out of town. Phillip agreed to hire Leigh to work for The Ledger as a runner. Jamie told Mac that he wants to be treated as an adult and vowed to have a long talk with Rachel.
