Plot Overview

Mitch asked to see Rachel, who planned to speak with Jamie first. Rachel received a call from Brian that he would represent her in the divorce. Blaine and Jerry waited for Sandy, who was beaten up by Jordan and his henchmen. Cecile wasn't pleased to learn that Pat is her new boss. Mitch promised Ada he'd provide for the children and make Rachel happy. Jamie recalled Marianne offering to help him with his drug habit. Jamie eased up on Rachel and was confident he'd straighten out his problems. Jamie had Leigh replace one of Philip's editorials for The Ledger. Rick gave Marianne a ring before leaving for the engagement party. Alice raised a few eyebrows when Zachary arrived at the party as her date. Alice tried to keep Leigh and Sally apart. Russ gave the engagement toast for Rick and Marianne. Leigh and Sally decided to leave the party instead of having dinner. Kit tried to make Marianne profess her love to Rick publicly to no avail. Rick thought little of the incident when Marianne explained she was alone with Jamie the other day. Denny interrupted Leigh and Sally getting romantic. Cecile confronted Jamie about his prescription pills and sent him packing. Mitch gave Rachel a check to open an art gallery. Thanks to Blaine, Jerry was placed into protective custody. Blaine arrived at the hotel room wanting to make a deal with Jordan.
