Plot Overview
Smiling a moment in satisfaction of Danny's death, Liz took Lenore's ring and left the house determinedly. Walter warned Buckley not to form an opinion before all the facts were in, then offered that Bill had a much more pronounced temperamental inclination than Missy. Liz and Helen held different views on whether Bill knew what he wanted. Horrified to hear Helen was questioned by Buckley, Liz insisted Lenore had to put the ring back on her finger to divert suspicion from Bill. Walter hypothesized that Missy picked the gun up deliberately and held it to shield Bill. Walter was miffed that Buckley had pre-empted his idea to bring Missy down for questioning. He ordered Buckley to question Liz. Flashbulbs went off as Dru and Missy came into Walter's office. Dru and Walter had met last spring when Walter spoke at the University. Missy went over her story, then, as sneak music played, Walter presented her with a clean glass of water.
