Plot Overview
Lucinda sees that Lily’s upset that the children seem to be depressed at Christmas. Lucinda and Emma conspire to set up Holden and Lily to run into each other in Old Town. Holden and Lily realize they were duped, but they decide, for the sake of the children, that everyone should unite at the farm. Once there, the adults each go talk to a child and establish what’s bothering them. They discover all the children are worried about each other. The family remedies each of their problems. Ethan is convinced Santa exists again and Holden and Lily accept Faith’s choice to go to boarding school. Lucinda flies Noah back, and while he’s unwilling to commit to Luke in any real way yet, they share a happy time together. Everyone takes a family Christmas photo to please Natalie. Molly returns and Lily and Lucinda leave. Lily, awaiting Damian at home, looks at the Christmas photo they all just took and sees that the connection between her and Holden is still visible.
