The difficulty he suffers in waiting has him exhuming her body and bringing it home. He nearly resort to suicide before, Mother returns. He effectively lives in a bubble of reality where both Norma and Juno are still alive.

Trivia
The Show
Behind the Scenes
- Vera Farmiga did all her own scene as Norma's corpse.
Allusions and References
- The detective investigating Norma's death is Chambers. This was the last name of the Sheriff and his wife in Psycho.
Memorable Moments
- Detective Chambers shows up to see Norman furiously smashing the flat screen TV Romero bought. He then simply tells her he dropped it.
- When Romero shows up at Norma's funeral, Norman gives him back the ring he put on her body. Romero takes it and then promptly hits Norman.
Goofs
- The charge against Romero on perjury is dubious. Perjury requires to be under oath, which Romero clearly wasn't as he was just asked routine questions over the phone. The probable charge under these conditions would be lying to a federal agent and obstruction of justice.
Quotes
- Norman: What are you gonna do, kill me in the hallway?
- Romero: No, I'm gonna prove you did it, you piece of shit.
- Norman: I miss - I miss her. I miss her so... so terribly. I - I just can't believe she left. She was not supposed to leave me. And I know that they say that God has a plan and that we have... and we have to trust that. We have to trust the plan. Well, it would be nice to know what the hell that plan is. I guess nobody thought telling me that would be important. And I'm just supposed to figure this shit out by myself!
- Justin Willcock: I think it would be best if you leave. I don't want to have to call the police.
- Romero: I am the police, dumbass.
