Battlestars is a game show that aired on NBC. It was by essence a clone of The Hollywood Squares.

Six celebrities sit in adjoining triangles with each corner of the triangles numerically designated as "points of lights." Two contestants in turn hit a plunger to select a point of light corresponding to a celebrity who was asked a question with two possible answers. After the celebrity gives an answer, the contestant must agree or disagree with it. If correct, that point of light is out of play. The object is to eliminate points of light to capture three celebrity triangles.

The winner received $500 and played a bonus game in which he/she tried to identify a famous person's face on a board of sixteen hidden squares.

Battlestars ran for only six months, then returned in 1983 for a three month run with slightly altered gameplay. The bonus game had the contestant agreeing or disagreeing with the celebrity chosen on three possible answers.
