Plot Overview
Kon, embarrassed and horrified by Yuzu dressing him in a gown and gluing a flower to his ear, decides to run away from Ichigo's room and seek adventure on his own. But he neglects to plot a destination or take any money to help him on his journey. He, instead, tries to get in with Michiru and Ryo, two friends of Orihime's. He isn't so stealthy, though, and blows his cover when he accidentally speaks. He tries to run away from them but is quickly chased down by Ryo, the school's track star. Kon, ever the pervert, tries to put himself in the path of Orihime but winds up in the middle of a game combining soccer and baseball.
While Kon makes failing attempts to be adopted by a less abusive person, Rukia broods about her encounter with the soul society's special forces. She knows that the Menos Grande incident is going to reach back to her superiors and someone is going to take her to her punishment soon. Meanwhile, across town, a black cat named Yoruichi finds its way to Urahara's, much to his delight. Tessei explains that the cat is Urahara's best friend.
In the afternoon, after some awkward lunch conversations on both Rukia and Ichigo's sides, Kon sneaks into Urahara's place to steal the weapons that he has stocked to get his revenge. But, of course, this fails too and he's tossed right back out the window by Ururu and Jinta. He flees back to school where he appears soon enough to interrupt a Rukia's attempt to speak tenderly to him. Considering that his stuffing is nearly pulled out, Ichigo brings Kon to Uryu, who also winds up putting him in a dress.
Rukia's past finally catches up with her when Yoruichi warns Urahara that two soul reapers have come into their realm to reclaim her. The two reapers appear in the sky and find her, despite her attempts to run away.
