Happenings
- It's revealed that Fidelia is the Guatrau's daughter. She reveals to him about the Adamas shipping the U-87s to Tauron behind his back and he authorises a hit on them. After a failed attempt at killing Joseph, he contacts his brother and they prepare to make a run for it off-world. They stop at Goldie's to get some money, but Willie, waiting with Evelyn, rushes in and is fatally shot by a stray bullet.
- Amanda doesn't trust Sam and after revealing his true intentions are to find Tamara and destroy her, she takes him out of the game.
- Lacy, Odin, and some of the other recruits take out Diego and Reikle, but instead of leaving, but Lacy resolves that they stay. She finds the Cylons, orders them to power up, and rounds them up for work.
- Clarice, Nestor, and Olaf break into the Graystone home. They demand to know where the holoband is when Zoe reenters the U-87 and kills Nestor, scaring the other two away.
Characters
- Zoe finally faces her parents. She expresses nothing but hatred for them, but this eases her up enough to let her mother hug her. When they reenter, Daniel shows her a virtual replication of their home where she can live with access to his computer so they can operate in tandem, sharing data for building her a new body. Zoe ponders it.
Referbacks
- Amanda notes that she doesn't trust Sam as she recognises his face. While not stated, she recognises him from when he drove her following her Backtalk interview in "Gravedancing".
Trivia
The Show
- The episode contains a few references to elements of Battlestar Galactica:
- Zoe terms the artificial body Daniel proposes as a "skinjob", which would be used decades later as a derogatory terms for the humanoid Cylons.
- Evelyn tries to tell Willie about how a ship's crew is like a family, an ideal Adama would take as Commander of Galactica. She later tells him about her brother on Tauron who fox hunts and has a couple of dogs that work as a team. Adama recounts a story about this in the episode "Sometimes A Great Notion".

Memorable Moments
- As Francis attempts to garrote Joseph he abruptly stops, revealing Ruth has buried a meat clever in his back. As he falls, she casually states remarks, "Never liked that one."
- William's death, a shocking moment in that it was assumed he was the child version of the Adama who would later command the Galactica.
