Celebrity Name Game is a comedic game show hosted by Craig Ferguson. The show is based on the board game Identity Crisis, which was also the name for a previous attempt at the concept which only filmed a pilot in 2011. Two episodes of the game air each day.

Two teams of civilian players each fronted by a celebrity team captain compete against time to identify famous names. In round 1, the celebrity gives clues to as many names (based on selections from two categories) as possible to his/her partners, alternating between each in 45 seconds. Each correct guess is worth $100. In round 2, the celebrity captains switch teams and one of the civilians gives clues. Correct guesses are worth $200.

In round 3, host Craig Ferguson gives clues for each alternating civilian player to ring in and identify the name. The first name is worth $100, the second $200 and so on, with a wrong guess awarding the money to the opponent. First team to $3000 wins the game.

That team vies for $20,000. One team member gives clues to the celebrities, who must identify ten names. The first team member has 45 seconds, the second has 30 seconds for any remaining unguessed names.
