Plot Overview
After the passing of his victim's last immediate relative, the demon Valkav releases a young man named J.D. from a portrait to finally kill him. However, J.D. escapes with his life and remains alive long enough to pop back up on Sam's radar after fifty long years. Sam approaches Paige for her assistance and tries to form a bond with his daughter, who is opposed to the idea.
Phoebe goes to a clinic for a consultation for a possible sperm donation. Piper and Leo switch bodies, thanks to a magical marriage counselor.

Referbacks
- Sam has appeared on this show in three-year intervals, first appearing in season two's "P3 H2O" and was last seen meeting Paige in season five's "Sam I Am."
- Piper and Leo's most recent marriage issues arose in the previous episode, "Kill Billie, Vol. 1."
- Piper and Leo last went through a "walk in each other's shoes" plot in season five's "Siren Song" when Wyatt switched their powers in utero.
- Paige quit her job at South Bay Social Services in "A Witch's Tail, Part Two."
Trivia
The Show
- Although this is a chronological error, this is the third (and final) episode of the series that takes place on the same day as the day the episode originally aired. This also happened in "Pardon My Past" and "Kill Billie, Vol. 1." The reason for this chronological error is because the events of "Death Becomes Them" and "Something Wicca This Way Goes" takes place in late October or early November 2005.
