Plot Overview
A populist politician shows off American's poor healthcare system by taking a group of citizens to Canada for medication. Coming back, a woman is detained by a border guard due to the nature of her sick daughter and is too occupied to stop what she knows will happen without her pills.

- The beer in Beau's fridge is Chief Woodenhead Ale. This is a reference to Old Chief Wood'nhead from Creepshow 2. They are also manufactured by Lunkhead Breweries, referencing what Jordy Verrill from the original film would call himself.
- The ashtray from "Father's Day" can be seen behind the counter where Beau usually works.

- Evan Miller is likely named after Dick Miller, the actor who was known for appearing in numerous B-movies throughout his life.
- Mai is revealed to be is a penanggalan, a ghostly, vampiric entity from Malaysian mythology. She is referred to on the story's cover as a krasue, which is another name for a penanggalan.
