Notes
Trivia
The Show
- This is the show's first animated story outside of the animated special. Fayna Sanchez, who previously did voices for said special, returns to voice Carmella.
- Mayor Wrightson's office contains a picture of him shaking hands with George A. Romero, a producer of the original film.
- Horlicks University and the "Carpenter Arctic Exploration Collection" are references to the original Creepshow story "The Crate", in which a crate from an arctic expedition is found tucked away in a basement lab at Horlicks University. The story ends with the newscaster teasing a story about something that's been found at the bottom of Rider's Quarry, which is where the crate was disposed of.
- The mayor and his daughter have the last name Wrightson, a nod to comic book artist Bernie Wrightson, who worked in the Art Department of the original Creepshow film.
- The reporter's name, Mac Kamen, is a reference to Jack Kamen, the EC Comics artist who drew the cover of the comic as well as the comic book panels in the original Creepshow.
