Plot Overview
A young man is gifted a piece of furniture that allows him the time to study and achieve everything he wants. He soon finds out however, that having total control over time comes with a price.

- In the opening panels, the monkey's paw from Night of the Paw can be seen in the collection of recovered antiques, taken by a soldier who hopes to keep it as a souvenir.
- The ashtray from "Father's Day" can be seen among the junk in a drawer that Tim opens.

- Tim's last name is Denborough, the same last name as the protagonist of IT.
- Tim's college roommate, who becomes a lawyer alongside him, is named Saul; an allusion to Better Call Saul.
- The boss of Wells & Brown brings up Tim's clerkship under a judge named "Myers", named after Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise.
- Wells & Brown is named after H.G. Wells, author of the novel The Time Machine, and Emmett Brown, inventor of the time-travelling DeLorean from the Back to the Future series of films.
