Plot Overview
Bartoli panics when he learns that Holman is in Federal custody and willing to testify. Two Federal Marshals show up at Torello's office, demanding all files on Luca, Bartoli, Taglia and Weisbord, and Mike tells them to get lost. They in turn warn him that, one way or another, he will hand over the files. An attempt on his life has Luca fleeing for Florida. He suspects Bartoli of the attempted hit, but Weisbord straightens things out, and the mobsters have a good belly laugh when they learn that Torello, the 'straightest cop in Chicago', will be indicted along with them. Chief Kramer orders Torello to take a vacation, so he travels to Las Vegas for some golf with his good friends. He picks up a Chicago newspaper while out there and sees on the front page that he is being indicted as a co-conspirator.
