Happenings
- At least 12 boxes are found and revealed to be what the bones are contained in while they're being waited to be shipped back to China. Homicide is called to investigate the dig site when one of the uncovered skeletons is found with a hole in its skull.
- Chen reaches out on behalf of the Chinese Benevolent Association to see the bodies of those dug up are returned and buried. He sets up an interview with Homicide and they learn the place where the skeletons were found was burned down in 1907 on the night of a riot against Chinese immigrants. It's later confirmed the murder victim was not part of the other skeletons found.
- Kosmo gets a warrant to bust up the basement of one of Alex's former houses, just as his wife, Sarah, shows up. However, forensics finds a skeleton. After identifying the remains, Kosmo interviews the woman's sister and suggests she might have been rolled up in the Mills's welfare scam or something else. Kurtz signs off on a surveillance warrant with Danny Leary being the undercover operative.
- Dominic calls in Steadman, who's been drinking, and tries to get him to having a conversation with Mister Dupont due to have gone through something similar.
Characters
- Sunny and Mick's relationship is clearly beginning to sour. At the site, she almost never directly addresses or looks at Mick. He explains to Leo that they're not getting along too well. This is made clear when they talk soon after.
