Plot Overview

With Kosmo's help, Mick investigates the death of an old friend whose ship is found to be robbed of the drug he was smuggling.

Dominic comes across a couple of inexplicably changed stories: one from John Dunne, another covering for the mayor.

Internal begins to look at Kosmo's relationship with her informant Sue.

Happenings

  • A fishing boat is found with marijuana smuggled on board that appears to be ripped off. A body if found floating that turns out to be Will Summers, an old friend of Mick's. Mick is suspicious as Will had moved on from the handling process. Brian shows up at the scene after Vice is called. He's turned away, but has Marla talk to Lila, Will's girlfriend. Lila claims Will got a call about a problem with the boat and went to deal with it. Marla finds a stash of money in her apartment and makes a deal to split in half. Brian then points Kosmo and Mick to Lila.
  • After Dino talks with John keeping his head down, Dunne's father talks with him and John soon goes to Phil Rosen and takes back his story.
  • Monty claims Zack beat the confession out of him and is now claiming he stole the car from outside the mayor's house and the witness has returned to Hong Kong.
  • Trent Murphy talks to Finn and gives him the story about Sue wanting Danny dead.
  • Jacobs puts Dino and Gloria on a six week suspension with pay.
  • Zack gets an early retirement offer. After learning about Leo's offer, they talk with Dominic and Leo explains seeing Norton with the mayor before Jacobs shows up, but before he became chief.
