Plot Overview

Dominic seeks out the reason how a kid managed to get run over by a train. In his investigation he gets assistance from Brian Curtis who he soon learns from Mick and Kosmo is blackmailing Jack Pierce.

Rose and Leo investigate a woman found shot in a car, which they learn from Suki was used in a bank robbery.

Happenings

  • While they're investigating a homicide, Suki informs them the car was used in a robbery and that the woman is half of a bank robbing married couple who hit more than two dozens banks in the northwest. When Suki tells them the woman's aunt was arrested for trying to launder their money in the stock market, they sync it up with the murdered stockbroker. This is supported when they find a stungun on the woman, which could have been used on him. They suspect he attempted to rip them off. The husband carjacks a vehicle with a woman inside. They corner him and after letting the woman go, he shoots himself.
  • Dominic meets Brian Curtis and soon learns from Kosmo and Mick that he's been blackmailing Pierce. He later confronts Pierce on it and pieces together that this is what led to him backing off his support of the red light district, which he now again shows no interest in supporting.
  • Helen finds a witness to the needle exchange beating.
