Day One was a planned adventure mystery drama series scheduled to air on NBC in the spring of 2010, after the 2010 Winter Olympics.
It was originally meant to be a thirteen-episode season, but NBC announced that they would instead just have four episodes air as a miniseries, then evaluate whether to continue it as a regular series. In January of 2010 it was announced that the project had been trimmed again, and would now only air as a two hour backdoor pilot, with the possibility for a series pick up for the 2010-11 season. In May 2010, the project was finally announced dead.
