Disney's House of Mouse is an animated comedy, which had a format similar to Cartoon Planet in that there were cartoon shorts shown with wraparounds. The series revolved around the usual Disney suspects, include Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy Goof among others, in their own nightclub/theater called the "House of Mouse". In the theater, the show constantly goes on because if it were to stop, the landlord of the club would shut it down for more lucrative uses. The crowd's included character from many Disney movies and properties.
The series premiered on ABC's One Saturday Morning block of cartoons but only lasted on there through 2 seasons. After that, the remaining new episodes were shown on Toon Disney, initially in a labor day marathon of 18 new episodes, with the other 8 episodes being shown sporadically after that through October 24, 2003.
The series also spawned two direct-to-video movies, entitled Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse and Mickey's House of Villains.
