Basic Information
The Ninth Doctor had the first and shortest tenure of the revival series. While available on home video, the 13 episodes of this first series of the revival have not been replayed on BBC America in years.
Character History
The Ninth Doctor was a regeneration of The War Doctor, who had returned to the Time War to save Gallifrey (retconned) with the help of Doctors Ten and Eleven. An almost punkish style, the Ninth Doctor would be joined by Rose, a girl who would later figure in the Time War.
