Season Three of Dragnet 1967 premiered on September 19, 1968.

In addition to the regular episodes, the TV movie Dragnet 1966 aired in between Episodes 15 and 16. Dragnet 1966 was originally filmed in 1966 as the pilot for a proposed revival of the original Dragnet, but did not air until January 27, 1969, during this season of Dragnet, over two years after NBC picked up the revived series after network executives first saw the movie.
