Plot Overview
Carter suffers a heart-attack and has to lay in the hospital for a long time. During his time in the hospital his lawyer informs Lois that as his heiress she is to run his business Carter Pewterscmit Inc. Lois, however, knows nothing about running her father's business, but is informed that if she wants, her father's employees can run the company during his absence. Lois agrees, but Peter feels that he should run the company. Peter knows he has no experience running a company, but this won't stop him from taking over Carter's industry. Not surprising, Peter nearly ruins the company, even after Carter recovers, and is ready to take charge. But Peter refuses to relinquish the position as head of the company. After nearly ruining the company, Lois and Carter come up with a plan to force Peter to return the company to Carter. The plan works and Carter regains control of Pewterschmit Industries and Peter returns to his abnormal state of mind.
Notes
This episode is one of the few times where Peter helps Carter have some fun. The plan backfires as Carter suffers a heart-attack.
