Plot Overview
The episode centers on Quagmire and his relationship with his estranged mother. Everything comes into focus when, at a party Peter is hosting, things get out of hand when Peter has sex with a 17-year-old girl, and his mother -- with some sordid secrets of her own -- comes to his defense.
As for Peter, he learns that he was actually christened as Justin -- discovered when he was trying to open a bank account and he needed to present proof of his identity -- which, instead of just merely taking it in stride, inspires Peter to go on a whim and adopt a younger, "bro"-style alter-ego.
Notes
The Parents Television Council, a frequent critic of "Family Guy," named this episode the "Worst of the Week" for its sexually explicit storyline -- coarse dialogue and explicit sex scenes with Quagmire and a girl who is revealed to be 17, and Quagmire's friends plotting to save him from prison -- and what it called mocking the Christian faith (a woman who becomes a born-again Christian but refuses to apologize for her past and condones the criminal actions of her son). Earlier in the week, PTC representatives called for its members and supporters to file complaints with the Federal Communications Commission for breaking broadcast indecency laws and its use of humor in a plotline about statutory rape.

- "The Alphabet Song" -- A young Quagmire sings a series of men's names, with whom his mother purportedly slept with, to the familiar children's song ("Art, Bob, Chest, Don, Ed, Frank, Gus ... ").
- The General Auto Insurance Co." -- The latest in the seemingly endless parade of annoying commercials Peter stars in is based off one of the insurance company's signature ads.
- "Miracle on 34th Street" -- Peter's idea of a letter-writing campaign in defense of Quagmire is directly inspired by children writing in to defend Santa Claus in the iconic holiday movie.
