Plot Overview

Peter wins a dirt bike after keeping his hand on it as per the rule. Peter takes the dirt bike with him everywhere. One day, Chris and Meg go joy riding on the dirt bike and Chris wrecks it in an attempt to do a daredevil stunt. Neither he nor Meg are hurt. Back home Peter and Lois learn what they have done and berates them for ruining the dirt bike. Chris and Meg do not understand why their parents are so upset since they can get a new dirt bike. Peter and Lois want to make the the kids understand that life as an adult is hard and challenges Chris and Meg to live like adults for a time and then they would understand. So the very next day Lois and Peter will go to school and Chris and Meg will live like adults. Chris will take Peter's place at his job in the brewery and Meg will do Lois's job as housewife. Before it is all over, all four of the Griffins will learn to appreciate the roles they had.
