Basic Information
Neal is a freshman at McKinley High School. He is the son of a well-to-do family - his father is a successful dentist who is regarded as cool by all of his friends. Neal has to deal with fitting in and embracing high school life while playing down his geeky interest in television and movies.
Despite being small of stature, Neal doesn't hesitate to self-aggrandize and believes himself to be a natural born comedian. He's quick to provide sarcastic commentary and off-the-cuff impersonations of famous characters. While being supremely self-confident, Neal also maintains a pragmatic outlook on life and thinks considerably about his long-term future.
