Plot Overview

Marsha is a college student who is unafraid of anything. But one Halloween night she soon finds herself getting spooked by Springwood's resident bogeyman, Freddy Krueger.

• Guest star Don Maxwell would later appear in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.

• When Mark sneaks into Marsha's room, he is wearing a hockey mask. This is an allusion to the protagonist of the Friday the 13th films, Jason Voorhees, whom Freddy would later encounter in Freddy vs. Jason.
