Behind the Scenes
- The minister in the funeral scene is played by Robert Shaye, the founder of New Line Cinema and served as a (executive) producer on the Nightmare on Elm Street films (as well as this series). This continues his cameos in the franchise as he had small roles in Part 2: Freddy's Revenge, Part 4: The Dream Master, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Wes Craven's New Nightmare (as himself), and Freddy vs. Jason.
- Guest star V.C. Dupree would later star in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.
