Trivia

The Show

  • Jeremy Ratchford reprises his role as Banshee who he voiced in the X-Men animated series.
  • The mansion used for the Xavier Institute is Hatley Castle. It would go on to serve as the exterior for the school in the live action X-Men film series.

Behind the Scenes

  • Was the first original product of Fox acquiring the X-Men's film and animation rights from Marvel.
  • While the film carries over many of the characters from the comics, the characters of Buff and Refrax were created especially for the movie. They were substitutes for the characters of Chamber and Penance as the special effects to translate them to screen would be too much for the film's budget. The producers consulted with the comic's writer Scott Lobdell to create the new characters. Had they proven popular they might have been added to the comic itself and featured in Toy Biz's X-Men action figure range.
  • Sandra Oh auditioned for the role of Emma Frost.
