Plot Overview

Twenty-six years after being hired by F.E.A.R. to take the crest of Birdman, X, The Eliminator, sees a commercial for Birdman's injury law practice and attempts to succeed where he failed so many years ago. While he sets up his death ray console in Birdman's lobby, Birdman is called into action to defend Phil in court against charges of vehicular manslaughter because he hit someone every day for a week. While returning to his office, Birdman runs into X, who declares his intent to "eliminate" him, and the two wind up making plans to get coffee.

Although Birdman is busy working on Phil's case, X gets over-excited about his chance to take his crest and starts stalking him with his unwieldy console. Birdman spends his time avoiding X and coaching Phil until the trial, where he finally falls victim to X's death ray. But, Birdman is saved from whatever X had in mind for him by Avenger, who attacks X and reverses the ray. With his newfound energy, Birdman convinces the judge that because Phil's car was light blue (and not blue as the officer said), he is not guilty.
