Heavyweight Wrestling (also known initially as Wrestling at Capitol Arena) was an American professional wrestling program that aired in first-run syndication. The original program of what was originally National Wrestling Alliance affiliate Capitol Wrestling (which became the World Wide Wrestling Federation in 1963 and is now World Wrestling Entertainment), it began as a local show on Washington, DC station WTTG on January 5, 1956, then entered wider syndication when it first began airing on New York City station WABD-TV (now WNYW) on June 21, 1956 as a summer replacement for a wrestling show produced at the studios of WABD by Eastern Sports Enterprises (which had debuted on August 4, 1955[1]).

Heavyweight Wrestling was produced and syndicated by Capitol Wrestling Corporation (the original parent company of the WWWF) until it ended its run on September 25, 1971.[2] It was replaced on the week of October 2, 1971 by a new program, WWWF All-Star Wrestling.
