Behind the Scenes
- While Darius's death was always planned for the finale, Stocker was too ill to film and so the episode had to be rewritten around this. All the footage of Darius in the episode was reused footage from previous episodes.
- Darius was originally planned to return posthumously in flashbacks, but Stocker's brain tumour and subsequent death prevented the return of the character.
- Fitzcairn was supposed to die at the end of the episode, but the writers liked him too much and let him live.
