IGPX is a Japanese series produced by Production I.G. The show is considered the first original series produced by Cartoon Network's Toonami, despite that claim being used before for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The series revolves around a racing event titled "The Immortal Grand Prix," and a team of newcomer racers trying to gain recognition and funding for their low budget operations. It airs weekly Friday nights at midnight.

While the series maintained a TV-Y7 FV rating in its first 13 episodes, a TV-PG rating was sprinkled across a couple usually for language or questionable song lyrics. In its second season, the coarser language in the ADR scripts has gone up significantly, causing all episodes to have a TV-PG or TV-PG-L rating.

The English version is produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment, and stars actors such as Haley Joel Osment, Lance Henriksen, and Michelle Rodriguez.
