Trivia

The Show

  • In addition to her regular role as Jeannie, Barbara Eden reprises the role of Jeannie's evil twin sister, Jeannie II, in this movie
  • Wayne Rogers assumed the role of Col. Tony Nelson for this movie, as Larry Hagman (who had played Tony in the series) was unavailable to reprise that role due to his commitment to his role as J.R. Ewing on Dallas.
  • This marks the final appearance of Dr. Alfred Bellows, as well as Hayden Rorke's final acting appearance. Rorke, who played Dr. Bellows in the series, subsequently died on August 19, 1987.
  • Amanda Bellows, Dr. Bellows' wife (who appeared in the second through fifth seasons), does not appear in this movie due to the real-life death of her portrayer, Emmaline Henry, in 1979.
