Iron Chef

Iron Chef is a cooking program originating from Japan in which two chefs compete against each other under the common "secret ingredient" divulged to them moments before starting the competition. The series was later imported to America twice, once unsuccessfully by UPN and again by Food Network. The more successful American version also spawned a spin-off of its own in which chefs compete to become "the next Iron Chef."
