James Cagney was an American movie star best known for his appearances in gangster movies such as The Public Enemy, Angels with Dirty Faces and White Heat, and musicals such as Footlight Parade, Something to Sing About and Yankee Doodle Dandy. On TV, he made appearances on anthologies, game and variety shows in the Golden Age of Television.
