KOZL-TV is a MyNetworkTV affiliate in Springfield, Missouri. The station broadcasts on digital channel 28 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 27 and is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. It's sister station is CBS affiliate KOLR channel 10.
KOZL launched in 1968 as KMTC affiliated with ABC. In 1985, the station's call letters were changed to KDEB-TV, and became a FOX affiliate in 1986 while ABC went to KSPR channel 33. In 2005, the station changed its call letters to KSFX-TV. In 2011, the station lost FOX to KRBK channel 49 and became an Independent station until it joined MyNetworkTV in 2014.
