Season Four
After George Minkowski, the freighter's communications officer, seemed to have lost his mind, Ray had him strapped down to a bed in the freighter's sickbay. Ray treated him there, injecting him regularly with sedative.
When the helicopter pilot, Frank Lapidus returned to the freighter with Sayid Jarrah and Desmond Hume, Desmond was showing the same symptoms as Minkowski. Keamy and Omar locked Desmond in the sickbay with Minkowski and asked Ray to check him out.
Desmond refused to let Ray inject him, but Ray only wanted to look at Desmond's eyes with a flashlight and ask him some questions. Sayid and Frank came in, and Ray scolded at Frank for bringing Sayid down there. Frank explained that they wanted to help and had Daniel Faraday on the satellite phone, who wanted to speak with Desmond. Ray claimed that Daniel couldn't even help himself and pushed an emergency alarm button. Desmond managed to talk with Daniel before Keamy and Omar arrived and took the phone away.
Later on, Frank Lapidus wouldn't take Keamy and his men to the island. First, Keamy shot and killed Captain Gault. Then, he kills Ray by slicing his throat and dumping his body into the ocean. His body then gets swept away to the island, when shocks a lot of people.
