Tisha Campbell returned to the series following a ten-episode hiatus, after settling a sexual harassment lawsuit against Martin Lawrence. As a condition of her agreement to return, Campbell's and Lawrence's scenes were filmed at different times, to prevent them from meeting each other; this results in Gina and Martin never appearing in the same scene together.
