Plot Overview
The victim is a life coach who leads a double life as a high-paid hooker. The killer is an investment advisor and housewife. The victim's body is found in a hotel room, killed by a lethal dose of pentobarbitol injected into her neck. She and her killer first encounter each other at the killer's daughter's gymnastics tryout. At first, it looks like jealousy may be the motive--the killer seems to think that every other woman is after her husband--but it also appears that competition in gymnastics between the two women's daughters might play a role. Angie is then hit with the obvious question...if the victim had something to hide, maybe the killer had something to hide as well...and that leads to the motive. In terms of the Derek Caster murder, his temporary cellmate confesses to the brutal killing, but Angie still believes that Neville Montgomery is behind it somehow.
