Musical Chairs is a game show that aired on CBS. It was hosted by Adam Wade, TV's first African-American game show emcee.
Four contestants competed. Live musical acts performed songs and leave out lyrics; contestants had to identify the missing lyrics from three possibilities. Contestants scored $50 in the first round, $75 in the second and $100 in the third. In the third round, low scoring players were eliminated per question until only one remained and became champion.
A Musical Chairs that aired twenty years prior on NBC in primetime was unrelated to this edition.
